>Coast Guard Releases Lessons Learned From Small Engine Room Fire

>On Oct. 16, the Assistant Commandant for Marine Safety, Security and Stewardship released a summary of lessons learned (01-09) from the investigation of a small engine room fire onboard a passenger ferry. These lessons learned involve vibration, leaks and combustibility of materials that may be useful to vessel owners and operators in addition to marine inspection personnel.
