Hosted by the Coast Guard Cutter Block Island and Fort Macon State Park personnel, the run starts and finishes at the Fort Macon State Park visitor center while passing through the grounds of the Coast Guard’s Sector Field Office Fort Macon.
On May 26, race participants are to check in starting at 8 a.m., before the race starts at 9 a.m. The runners will race across the historic grounds of the fort to help promote safe boating. Running the race in a life jacket is highly encouraged.
